I heart the City of Destiny

I’ve lived in Tacoma now for 9 years. I’m sitting here listening to the Tacoma Rainiers live stream. Adam Jones just knocked a 3-run shot out of left field, putting them back in it, down by 1, at 4-3. Kind of a fitting analogy for this town where I’ve decided to stay put. Everyone beats up on it, then, out of left field, it gets right back in the thick of things. I love this place. That’s the reason I’m sitting here, waiting. I’m waiting on a lawyer to wade through a commercial lease for a space on 6th Avenue.

I’m going to open The Red Hot.
