It’s Been a While…

This weekend, the roller derby team I coach, The Homewreckers (one of 4 teams in Tacoma’s Dockyard Derby Dames League), decidedly won the third bout of our season. 70-something to 50-something. I was so elated, I can’t remember. I’ll get my stat sheets sometime this week for the details. We capitalized on the other team’s (the Marauding Mollies) penalties, kept our girls out of the penalty box, and combined harder hits and faster scoring to take the W. I really could not be prouder of my team for stepping it up. One more bout to go on November 3rd!

Directly after we were declared the winner, I had to jet back to the trusty Red Hot to take back my shift. Still waiting on sign ‘issues’ to be ironed out so I can finally get some proper signage up. This should happen in the next week or so (crosses fingers).

Now I am going to enjoy a few hours of couch-time. Rock on.
