Thu 3/24: Meet the Brewers-Foggy Noggin Brewing

23 Mar

A little over a year ago, Jim Jamison opened up one of Washington State’s smallest craft breweries. It’s called Foggy Noggin Brewing, and Jim makes some of the best English-styled ales going. Brewing on a half-barrel system, crafting small batches totaling 200 barrels a year, Jim is living the dream many have, brewing at his residence, and even hosting his own taproom out of his garage.

We’ve served his two flagship beers at TRH before, the Bit O’ Beaver English Bitter, and the Christmas Duck Porter (both nods to Oregon collegiate mascots?). We’re very excited to host a night with Jim, pouring 4 selections from his brewery. We’ll have the Christmas Duck Porter, the Diablo del Sol English Pale, a bar-top cask of Bit O’ Beaver Bitter, and a keg of his very hard to get (he’s already sold out all of his bottles) Anniversary Olde English Ale, made in celebration for his first year of business.

Jim and the Fn Crew are headed down Thursday night, bringing along a bag of goodies (growlers, glasses, shirts, etc.), and is spreading the word of Foggy Noggin. All Fn beers go on at 6pm, bring your questions, and come find out just how truly delicious his small-batch beers are.
