Thu 2/28: Snipes Mountain Night & TRH Test Kitchen

27 Feb

Our pals from Snipes Mountain Brewery are paying a visit on Thursday night. Instead of bore-fests with a tshirt that won’t fit you anyway, we like to reward you with amazing beer. Check out these tasty offerings:

Bar Top Cask of Snipes Mountain No Bake Stout casked with almond butter & Ecuadorean cacao nibs

Bar Top Cask of Snipes Mountain IPA casked with copious amounts of Centennial hops & coconut palm sugar

Keg of Snipes Mountain 2010 Ye Olde Roza Barley Wine

Keg of Snipes Mountain Red Sky ESB w/Chinook, Cascade, Palisade & Satus hops

Keg of Snipes Mountain Wild Eye P.A. Belgian IPA

Everything is getting tapped at 6pm!

Since it’s Thursday, that means the TRH Test Kitchen will be going, this time with a nod to our pals from Snipes Mountain:

German bratwurst in a pretzel roll, Swiss cheese, Snipes Mountain IPA mustard, onions, cider braised sauerkraut, and dill pickles. This special will be available when we open at 11am, until we close at 11pm, or until supplies are exhausted, whichever comes first.

This special is vegi-friendly when ordered with a vegi-brat at no extra charge.

No substitutions/additions/to-go.

Wed 1/25: Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Night, 6pm

25 Jan

Tonight, our pals from Snoqualmie Falls Brewing stop by with a load of treats.

We’ll be tapping their Plant 1 Powerhouse IPA,

Louis Quatorze, their 14th Anniversary Imperial Stout,

and the way solid Copperhead Pale.

These tasty treats will be unleashed at 6pm, and the always awesome Eric, Snoqualmie Falls man-about-town, will be in-house to deliver schwag and any tidbits of made-in-WA Snoqualmie Falls Brewing info that you might desire.

Wed 6/29: Wingman Brewers Pin-Up Pale Launch & more, 6pm

28 Jun

Wingman Brewers, Tacoma’s newest brewery, is set to launch their second beer tomorrow with us at The Red Hot. Pin-Up Pale will be the second beer in their line-up, and will fit well in their hangar next to their very delicious and well-crafted P-51 Porter. From the Wingmen themselves:

Pin-up Pale Ale
ABV: 6.1% SRM: 10 IBU: 40
Everyone can enjoy this mildly hoppy Northwest-Style Pale. Pin-up Pale’s citrus and pine flavors evoke these familiar scents found in the crisp air of the great Pacific Northwest.

In addition to bringing their newest brew to introduce to the people, they will also be bringing a treat: Pomegranate Porter, a off-shoot of the P-51 Porter they launched here in April.

Both Wingman kegs will be promptly tapped at 6pm. Good times shall be had. Great beer shall be consumed.

Cheers to Wingman Brewers for keeping a good thing going. COme Wednesday Night to raise a glass yourself!
