Pirates Pinball

10 Dec

Just got this in at TRH yesterday replacing the White Water pin.

Tons of lights that try and mess you up, a crazed turntable, loads of ramps, great skill shots, 2 multiballs, and all kinds of moving parts. This game is fun as hell. Yes, it has a beer holder on the front of it. GAME ON!

Dang, and I almost stopped in last night. That’ll learn me.

Pirates OTC is a really fun machine to play and not too difficult to get replays on if you can keep the ball in play. Multi ball is a bitch but what machine with multi ball isn’t? They had this machine at the Park Inn until they replaced it a couople of months back with the Indiana Jones machine (which is also fun to play) but I wish they had not replaced it.

Whitewater can be kinda sucky depending on how it’s adjusted but keeping a ball in play can be somewhat of a challenge for sure. Oh, and picking up the extra ball off of that recessed target is a bitch without losing the ball in play. Hell, it’s a bitch just to hit the damn thing at all.

nooo. i loved whitewater. i’ve played other whitewater machines and the red hot’s one felt way better than them, so i think it was adjusted just right.

my friends and i actually went in there and left in disappointment. not that i wont go back there. i’ll still come for the hot dogs! and i’ll probably play that pirates one after all because that table is seriously coming around to me despite my strict code of pretentious “old school”-ness. 🙂
