Wednesday November 2nd, we’ll unleash The Lincoln District Dog unto the masses. An ode to a part of the city that holds some of our favorite culinary haunts.

This all beef hot dog is topped with with hoisin sauce, chili paste, and a pineapple/cilantro/purple onion relish.

Wednesday October 12th, we’ll unleash The Red Hot Ranch Dog unto the masses.

This all beef dog is rounded up with ranch dressing, onions, bacon, guacamole, and tomatoes.

Wed 9/7: The Puget Sound Pigskin Dog

Wednesday September 7th, we’ll unleash the Puget Sound Pigskin Dog unto the masses.

This beef-and-pork creation will announce the football season in true meaty fashion. This all beef hot dog is topped with bbq sauce, chopped onions, nacho cheese, and topped with spicy pork rinds.

This special will run for one day only, no additions, 11am to 10pm, or until supplies are exhausted. Get some.

Sat 8/13: TRH 4th Anniversary BBQ! 11am-9pm

On August 16th, 2007, we opened our doors for the very first time. It’s been an amazing ride so far! Thanks to all our pals for making it happen. We’re having a casual shindig to thank everyone who helps us keep the lights on, as well as welcome our new pals. On Saturday, our outdoor beer garden opens at 11am. We’ll close down our inside kitchen, but we’ll have the charcoal grill fired up again outside with Stu’s cider-braised kraut and grilled onions…and of course we’ll have some special treats on draft: 7 Seas Bloody Seas Bloody Mary-infused Beer (huge hit at this year’s Strange Brew Fest!), Snoqualmie Falls pub-only keg of Little Si Kolsch, Cascade Brewing Test Drive IPA & Cascade Lime/Ginger/Honey Sour, and Two Beers Heart of Darkness Imperial CDA are a few delights that await.

Thanks again for everyone’s patronage, and thanks for being part of The Red Hot Family! See you Saturday!

Wednesday June 1st, we’ll unleash the Tacoma Thai Dog unto the masses.

All beef hot dog, topped with sweet chile sauce, diced onion, peanut butter, slaw, Sri Racha, fresh cilantro, and our own special Thai spice blend.

Wed 5/4: The Salsa Verde Dog

Wednesday My 4th, we’ll unleash the Salsa Verde Dog unto the masses.

All beef hot dog, topped with a warmed green chile salsa verde, covered in sliced pepper jack cheese, with fresh diced onions, and topped with our special cool lime-cilantro-sour cream sauce.

Wed 4/6: Chuckanut Brewing Meet the Brewers Night & “The Cowboy Dog” Special

Chuckanut Brewing, headed up by NW Brewing Pioneers/Legends Will and Mari Kemper, has in a short time amassed many medal-winning beers, but also snagged the “America’s Best Small Brew Pub” and “Best Small Brew Pub” titles at the 2009 Great American Beer Festival, one short year after opening their doors.

Will has served as brewmaster for Thomas Kemper Brewing (Poulsbo, WA), Aviator Ales (Seattle, WA), Norwester Brewing (Portland, OR), Mile High Brewing (Denver, CO), and Dock Street Brewing (Philadelphia, PA). Internationally, Will and Mari started the first two Sierra Madre Brewpubs in Monterrey, Mexico, and also started the first brewpub/craft brewery in Istanbul, Turkey. The list of achievements could go on and on, but what sticks out in my mind is after meeting both of them a handful of times, they are, as we like to say, good people. On Wednesday night, we’ll have 4 of Chuckanut’s delicious offerings on tap; British IPA, Pilsner, Kolsch, and Export Stout. Will and Mari will be on hand to talk shop and enjoy a great night out in Tacoma with their amazing beers.

To further the awesomeness of the middle of the week, we are unleashing a one-day-only special hot dog, “The Cowboy Dog”. Take one of our all-beef hot dogs, top with onions, bacon, and BBQ Baked Beans infused with Big Sky’s Cowboy Coffee Porter. This one is available when we open the doors Wednesday morning, and goes until the chuck wagon runs dry.

Wed 3/2: New Menu Changes

Tonight, we’re relaunching the Rainier Reuben. The Reuben has been on our menu since we’ve opened, the brain-child of our first beertender, Jenn, as an homage to her favorite sammich. Just when it couldn’t get any better, we’ve made it proper by adding deli mustard and slices of natural Swiss cheese: All beef dog with stone ground deli mustard, thousand island, sliced all-natural Swiss cheese & sauerkraut on top to melt together this version of a deli classic.

Also, a past monthly special gets called up to the show…the Hosmer Hound Dog makes it’s maiden voyage as the newest member on our menu: All beef hot dog with creamy peanut butter and 2 slices of bacon.
